• SpeciesrichnessanddensityofsaplingwerehigherinRAF‐60,whileforpolewashigherinshrub‐30andfortreewashigherinforest.• RAF‐13andRAF‐30hadhigherdensitybutalsohadlowerspeciesrichnessthanotherlandcovertypes.• Lowspeciesrichnesswasinfluencedbythehighdominanceofrubberineveryrubberagroforestsite.
