Lesson plan
Some students are having problem when they are writing words that sound
similar but their spelling is different. Students need to learn and practice
those words.
Objective: Students will learn how and where to use hay, ahí, and ¡ay! in a
sentence.
Standard: 1.5 Identify learned words, signs (ASL), and phrases in authentic texts

¡Ay! ¡Acabas de pisarme el pie! Ow! You just stepped on my foot!
Write a sentence for each word, total of three sentences.
Example:
Hay animales en el zoologico./There are
animals at the zoo.
Ahí estan las copas sobre la mesa./ The
cups are on the table.
¡Ay! ¡eso dolio! Ow! That was painful!
