Polish Presidency In Council of the European Union
01.07.-31.12.2011 Dynamic, positive energy and solidarity are the values that symbolize logo. Shows Poland as a modern and young at heart, initiating positive changes in Europe.
The author of the presidency’s logo is Jerzy Janiszewski – the author of the well-known around the world „Solidarity” logo, that became a historic symbol of polish route to freedom and democratic transformations in this part of the world.

Cuisine PIVCuisine PL
The Polish presidency is a great opportunity to promote Polish cuisine. One of the most cherished Polish chefs, Adam Chrząstowski, oversees the creation of exquisite menu of Polish dishes, native products based on high-level meetings in Poland and Brussels. Foreign delegations and journalists visiting Poland during the presidency also receive a package of laws on the Polish cuisine, modern arranged for 16 chefs, including three foreigners, every day working in the best Polish restaurants. The starting point for each of the rules is the product generally evocative of Polish cuisine (such as herring, cucumber, buckwheat, poppy, game). Each recipe precedes foreign customers understand the product description, including its cultural context. The publication is even more enjoyable thanks to modern illustrations.
