Unconferences

• An unconference is a facilitated, participant-driven conference centered around a theme or purpose

• Usually based on Open Space principles

Open Space Principles

• Self-organizing• All attendees are encouraged

to present or facilitate a session

• The goal is understanding, not necessarily to "win" or win support by being right

• Anyone can request assistance from any designated Facilitator at any time

• Law of Two Feet

Wikis• A wiki is a website that,

allows the easy creation and editing of any number of interlinked Web pages

• Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites and to power community websites.

Blogs• A blog is a type of

website, usually maintained by an individual with regular entries of commentary, descriptions of events, or other material such as graphics or video.

• "Blog" can also be used as a verb, meaning to maintain or add content to a blog.

Twitter

• Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that enables its users to send and read each others' updates, known as tweets.
