“It was an honor and privi-lege for me to Chair the 2016edition of the Winner’s Circleprogram. For those of you whomay not be familiar with theWinner’s Circle initiative, it isCommerce Lexington’s annualfundraising campaign thatenlists the help of volunteersto sell sponsorships, whichhelps to enhance our pro-grams and services andpositively impact the com-munity.

This year, we not onlystarted with the most aggressive goal in the pro-gram’s 14-year history, but the volunteers neverwavered in their efforts to surpass this goal. Thecampaign ended with an all-time high of $921,359 intotal production. I know you’ll agree with me whenI say that we have the very best volunteers our com-munity has to offer, and I would like to thank thecompany CEO’s and senior officials who allow theiremployees to participate in this worthwhile effort.

Volunteers, past chairs, Commerce Lexingtonboard members, staff and campaign leadership cel-ebrated our success with a Victory Luncheon hostedat the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort & Spa onDecember 16th. During the luncheon, we recog-nized those who made our 2016 campaign a hugesuccess, and you’ll see our top team and individualproducers highlighted on this page.

One of the key reasons for the consistent successof The Winner’s Circle program is the support of themany past chairs, who continue to stay involved,engage in events, and assist volunteers in their salesefforts.
