The logotype has been created to represent the more modern nature of the brand, giving us better visibility and legibility on all communications.

The logotype colours are the strongest asset of the brand. The green for locums has remained consistent through all iterations of the brand. Bold, bright and medical it provides a balance to the brand emphasising the link to the old logo. The orange, black and purple attributed to Nurses, London and AHP's bring colour and life to each of the sub divisions of the overall brand.

These are the primary, and preferred options for use on all communications materials and should only be used on white backgrounds or on very light regions of photographic imagery. The primary logo is separated into two versions. The one below and one where the colours are all reversed out (see page 14). This can be used in some instances in particular when used against the original pantone.

The secondary version is monochrome version which can be reversed out onto any colour or region of photography (mid-level to dark)(see page 14).

If you are in any doubt about which version of each logo to use, please contact the DRC Group marketing team.

Once the major departments of the business are separated, it becomes simple to understand the sub divisions of the brand.

All locums divisions (of which there are many) would be listed in the same way the DRC Locums logo is detailed but

departments would always been green. Nurses would always be orange etc.

When applying the logo to your own materials, choose from either the original green, reversed out version and monochrome of the logo to ensure maximum legibility of the brand. This is imperative and is why in some situations, (see red and purple, blue and green) the monochrome versions are preferred even when the primaries are possible. Legibility and clarity is always more important compared to colour.

Below are examples of logo use on photographic backgrounds. As before, of the four versions available (the original, reversed, monochrome and monochrome reversed), it is imperative you use the logotype that provides the most clarity

place; if light, in the darkest area and vice versa.

The way the logo has been constructed must remain consistent throughout all marketing materials. The circular section must always be ranged right with locums following. This layout must not change under any circumstances.

If the logo becomes too small, then please use the circle on its own.

Typography - general rules

Good typography ensures clarity of communication. Our fonts are typical of what our brand represents and is trusted to uphold. Our primary brand font is Interstate Mono Light and Interstate Mono Bold. This must be used for all titles, headlines which should be in capitals and branded messaging in normal sentence case for external use. Headings and

Our secondary font is Futura LT Book Bold. As a rule tracking is set as +50 and all type should be in capitals. This is used as an alternative to the primary font but in general, is designed for use for headlines externally as well as internal headlines, titles and messaging, no smaller than 12pt. Titles and headlines are allowed to be in any typeface however, they must be legible.

Where Interstate Mono and Futura LT Book are not available, for example eFlyers and eMails, Arial or Lucida Sans may be used as an alternatives.
