The DSE 7450 is a control moduledesigned to control DC generatorsin supplying both a load and/or thecharging of batteries in a remotestandalone application.

Specific attention has been given toensure this module has thenecessary features to beconfigured for many different andchallenging applications. Owing tothe large number of monitoringpoints and the built inprogrammable logic controller, awide number of operating modescan be realised. This provides theuser with the ultimate flexibility inthe engine control of the generatorto ensure battery life optimisation,reduce engine maintenance/replacement and fuel usage.

Application specific needs can alsobe achieved by combining thestandard and embedded safetyfeatures for generator control andthe configurable discrete I/O.

The DSE7450 will annunciatewarnings, shutdown and enginestatus information on the back-litLCD screen, illuminated LEDs,remote PC, audible alarm and viaSMS text alerts. Parameters can beadjusted using the LCD and tactilerubber silicon 5 key menunavigation. PIN code protectionensures that only authorisedpersons can access these features.

The module includes USB, RS232,RS485 & Ethernet ports as well asdedicated terminals for systemexpansion.

The DSE7450 Series modules arecompatible with both electronic(CAN) and non-electronic enginesand offer a comprehensive numberof flexible inputs, outputs andextensive engine protections. Thismeans the system can be easilyadapted to meet the mostdemanding industry requirements.The modules can be easilyconfigured using the DSEConfiguration Suite Software.
