    third

    cycle

    projects

    have

    been

    directly

    released

    DBM

    to

    the

    DSWD

    Associations

    served

    Program

    for

    the last

    three

    years.

    has

    pioneered.

    conclusion'

    the

    SLP-PAMANA

    staffls

    are

    now

    looking

    into

    the

    results

    of

    the

    interyentions

    provided

    to

    the

    beneficiaries.

    project

    the sari-sari

    sLPA

    The

    Association

    places

    bulk

    orders

    from

    rice

    whoiesalers

    and

    distributes

    to

    the

    six

    "purok"

    or

    zones

    within

    the

    baraagay

    upon

    delivery.

    To

    suPport

    their

    livelihood,

    the

    members

    themselves

    patronize

    their

    goods

    and

    encourage

    other

    sari-sari

    stores

    and

    households

    in

    the

    baraagay

    to

    support

    their.end.eavor.

    To

    help

    their

    neighbors

    who

    are

    financially

    challenged,

    the

    Association

    proposed

    several

    terms

    of

    pJyment

    on accounr

    ranging

    from

    daily,

    weekly

    and

    monthly.

    diligent

    payment

    and

    collection

    scheme

    of

    the

    members,

    realizing

    was

    initiated

    the

    with

    Department

    of

    Labor

    and

    Employment

    (DOLE)

    SLP

    Association

    members

    were

    enthusiastic

    of

    the

    program

    as

    demonstrated

    in

    their

    active

    participation

    during

    trainings

    and

    capabiliry

    building *orkrhop,

    conducred

    for

    them.

    They

    have

    been

    equipped

    with

    basic

    knowledge

    on

    procurement,

    bookkeeping

    and

    business

    management

    in

    preparation

    for

    the

    administration

    of

    the

    projects,

    will manage

    the

    enterprises

    to

    be

    established.

    The

    Association has

    three

    sub-groups.

    The

    first

    sub_group

    initially

    had

    members,

    2 females.

    They

    implementation

    activities

    also

    became

    the

    venue

    co

    impart

    leadership

    roles

    and

    social

    responsibiliw,

    SLP-PAMANA

    is

    going

    beyond

    its

    objective

    of

    strengthening

    resilience

    to

    conflict

    by

    improving

    the

    socio_economic

    capaciry

    of

    the

    communities

    and

    families

    in

    the covered

    areas.

    The

    program

    hqr

    gradually

    gained

    the

    trust

    of

    some

    beneficiaries

    who

    confessed

    being

    part

    of

    the

    nonconforming

    groups.

    Through

    Stp-pAMANA

    projects,

    these

    people

    who

    have

    lived

    in

    secrecy

    and

    hardship

    can

    look

    forward

    to

    a

    much

    brighter.

    Community-Driven

    Enterprise

    Development

    strategy

    was

    urilized

    in

    the

    implementation

    of

    the

    projects,

    beneficiaries

    have

    been

    capacitated

    with

    training

    activities

    and

    other

    related

    sessions

    on

    skills

    development

    for

    entrepreneurship

    which

    equips

    the

    pa-rticipants

    in

    terms

    of

    the

    knowledge

    also

    a

    generous

    supply

    of

    aquatic

    resoruces.

    The

    SLp

    Association

    has

    identified

    a need

    for

    a

    new

    public

    Market

    as

    their

    second

    ffanche

    project

    because

    the

    old

    one

    is

    rlrrsanitary,

    present,

    the

    public

    market

    serves

    not

    only

    the

    residents

    of

    barangay

    Dableston-but

    the

    adiacent

    barapgays

    as

    well

    as

    resid.ents

    of

    distant

    towns

    passing

    through

    the

    highway

    where

    the

    market

    stands.

    The

    members

    have

    observed

    an

    increase

    in

    their

    income

    compare

    to

    when

    the

    market

    was

    Iocated

    in

    the

    old

    site,

    Their

    income

    can

    now

    support

    the

    daily

    basic

    needs

    of

    their

    families

    and

    their

    children can

    now go

    to

    school

    and.

    attend

    classes

    regularly.

    In

    adclition,

    the

    members

    of

    the

    Association

    are

    planning

    to

    donate

    a

    percentage

    of

    their

    income

    to

    the

    barangay

    Day

    care

    center

    for

    acquisition

    of

    tables

    and

    chairs.
