SCHOOL CONTRIBUTIONS

Thank you to the families who have already paid the School Contribution for 2015. Fees for the year are only $60 per student, or $150 per family of 3 or more students.

The school contributions are used directly to purchase equipment and supplies for your children to use in their classrooms.

EFTPOS facilities are now available in the office to make it easier for payment.

We understand that it can be difficult to organise your contribution and can help out with flexible payment options. Please call into the office to organise different payment plans.

Please also let family, friends and neighbours know that it is now time to enrol for Kindergarten.

Earn and Learn stickers. Collection time is over!!! Please send in all of the stickers that you have collected and place them into the box in the Front Office. Thank you to everyone for your support, and we look forward to new supplies to share throughout the school.

FROM THE CHAPLAIN In weeks 6 - 7 we focussed on the virtue CARING - Being considerate and thoughtful towards ourselves and others. “A smile is the light in your window that tells others that there is a caring, sharing person inside”. Denis Waitley In weeks 8 – 9 we are focussing on HONESTY. Honesty is being open, trustworthy and truthful. When you practice HONESTY you: Say what you mean and mean what you say Make promises you can keep Admit your mistakes Refuse to lie, cheat and steal Tell the truth Are true to yourself and do what you know is

right?

Thank you to all of the families that came along and joined us for our annual Athletics Carnival. It was a fantastic day

full of fun and excitement. All of the students should be commended for their excellent sportsmanship and enthusiasm.

At the end of the day Serpentine (Red) was crowned winner for the second year in a row. A massive thankyou to the

P&C for all the work that they did with the food and drink stall on the day. We look forward to seeing as many parents

as possible at the Interschool on Wednesday September 16th at Lakelands Primary School.
