RE: Duke Greenstein

To Whom It May Concern,

It is not often we get to work with someone in as many capacities as I have with Duke. I suppose that gives me a unique perspective on him as both a business man, and a person.

I first knew him as an able competitor, while Duke worked in a Sales role for A to Z Sponge, Ltd. While we were only acquainted in passing, I held respect for Duke as a competitor. His work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile for his customers made him an able competitor, and one who didn't have to resort to merely cutting the price to keep or gain business. He was creative, which kept us seemingly always a step behind, with many shared accounts.

Second, Duke came to work for BFF Foam, when an ownership change at A to Z Foam forced many of the long term employees into looking for work. Knowing Duke a little from the Trade, we took a chance and hired him. In the 2 years he worked at BFF in a role as Sales Manager, Duke singlehandedly helped us to raise our Sales by over 40%. Duke challenged our Plant in many ways to improve, and we did. His experience in both Sales and Manufacturing was invaluable in helping us to grow our company. His abilities to hold his own in conversation with any person, on any level, I think makes him unique. It certainly worked to our mutual advantage with BFF.

Most recently, Duke went to work for a customer of ours. In this role as a General Manager, Duke became one of our largest customers within the first 9 months. His dealings with me equally valued Trust and Honesty, while always doing the best he could for his employer. He walked his talk about considering all aspects of any business dealings, with equal emphasis on Fairness in Pricing, Quality, and Service.

I know Duke will be successful in his future business dealings. He challenges those around him to improve themselves, and challenges himself even more than that. If you are interested in making your company a better place, and are willing to challenge the conventions, Duke will shine. If you are looking for someone to just accept things as is, Duke is NOT going to be a good fit in your company. He believes in improving the business, by continuously working ON the business.

Feel free to contact me at any time should you have any questions, or wish to discuss this.

Sincerely,

Steve BettsOwner / GM
