Generation 5 Chapter 1

Welcome back to the Dulcibella Legacy! What better way to open the chapter than a really awful shot of the family?

Ladrian: “Mom, what happened to your old dress?”

Estora: “I made this one. Isn’t it wonderfully cheesy like?”

Um, yeah…

Estora: “See you in the wedding Chapel!”

Ladrian: “Um, what’s this tradition you’ve been talking about?”

Estora: “Bye!”

Ladrian: “This is strange. Wow, that’s grandpa. It’s hard to imagine him being young.”

And their married! I want their kids to have Pony’s ears. *crossing fingers*

Ladrian: “Hi beautiful. Please don’t shove the cake in my face.”

Pony: “But what’s the fun in that?”

I think that’s the first cake shoving of the legacy.

Hey, they actually sat by each other!

Ladrian: “See, I’m a good husband. I use a fork.”

Pony: “Look, I’m pregnant.”

… how many times have I used that line in this?

Hey, why aren’t you on the couch? It’s open.

Estora: “Meh, I can’t see from there.”

That’s sad.

Estora: “No it’s not. Now burnt grilled cheese, that’s sad.”

Ladrian: “Wow, there’s a baby in here.”

Pony: “This is weird. Why do people rub pregnant women’s belly’s?”

Don’t ask me. I think it’s weird too.

Um, Thai, don’t you think it’s a bit creepy that your watching your son sleep?

Thai: “Not at all.”

Baby!

It’s a little blond boy!

Ladrian: “Woot! Family sim has a son now!”

It’s time for Kaladin to grow up! Seems like only last slide he was born…

Ladrian: “Where’s Pony?”

She had to work.

Thai: “That’s why Estora and I don’t have jobs.”

No, you don’t have jobs because neither of your lifetime wants had to do with jobs. And I’m lazy.

Aw, cute curly hair. I don’t think I’ve used that hair before. I’m also not sure if he has Pony’s ears. I don’t know what they look like on toddlers, but I have a hunch that he doesn’t have them…

And so it begins. I loaded up the sims to find Kliss’ grave missing. Thankfully hers had only teleported back to where she died, but still, this does not bode well.

I love toddlers. Love love love.

Thai’s the one who has added toys into the nursery.

Meet Thai’s couch. Whenever he has nothing to do he comes and sits on this couch. Not any of the other identical couches in the room. This couch.

Thai: “This is my comfy place.”

Pony: “Well would you look at this. I’m pregnant again.”

Yeah, big surprise there. *rolling of eyes*

I incredibly dislike birthday pictures. But I love birthdays, since they’re getting older.

No ears. Pony, the next kid had better have your ears. I wants them…

That’s his smiling face. There is just something about that that is adorable. Though, again, biased sims player.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Ladrian reached the top of his career. Yeah for platnium!…and more unneeded education bookcases…

Time for another baby!

It’s a boy!

Ladrian: “My wife is hot when she’s giving birth.”

… Yeah, that’s not creepy at all. *shudder*

Pony: “Here, hold him for me, will you.”

… Pony, you didn’t…

You did… He’s also a boy. You know, I’ve been trying to only have two children. My sims don’t really like to support me on this, do they?

Isn’t there a better place to do that?

Goodbye annoying baby stage!Ladrian is holding Adolin and Pony has Gavilar.

Adolin.

Squiffy, I mean Gavilar.

I’m a believer of not judging a sims looks by their toddler picture.

I don’t get it though. How do pretty sims end up with that? I’m starting to think that simself genetics don’t mesh well together…

I think Adolin may have inherited the ears. If he did he is the heir, no contest. I want the ears.

Um, you’re a bit late Kaladin. That was about five sim hours ago.

Kaladin: “Toot!”

Gavilar loves the fire truck.

I suck at sims playing. Thai has frost bite, and I forgot to empty his inventory, and now death is here.

Thai: “Wait, you mean I actually have to die? Since when to simselves die?”

That’s the way it goes in this legacy.

Thai’s bar was the same as Estora’s, but sometime during elderhood his took a jump on days. I have no clue why. Sorry about that.

Well, Thai, you were the first simself I married in. Thanks for being a good sport, and dealing with a grilled cheese sim.

It’s so weird writing one of these slides for a simself…

And, thanks to Pony, I now have two toddlers in the house at the bottom of their aspiration bar. Could you have lived just a few more days, Thai?

But, thanks to toddler skills, they were both soon platinum once more.

I love toddlers. And I’m so excited to have my Gen sixies! Over half way! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I don’t think I’ve ever made it past third gen in a legacy before.

Pony: “Why do sims have to get older so fast?”

Ladrian: “Sims? What are sims?”

Pony: “Oh, don’t worry about it.”

Yay, they’re kids!

Adolin Gavilar

Adolin: “Haha, I’m winning!”

Kaladin: “Oh, shut up.”

You don’t look very excited.

Pony: “Should I be?”

Well, you just finished your lifetime want, so you’re permaplat.

Pony: “Well, if that’s all.”

Headmaster: “All three of your boys are welcome at my private school.”

Success.

Adolin: “First day of private school!”

I love the male uniforms.

*snicker* I almost want to leave him in that. *snicker*

Kaladin: “Am I wearing a skirt?”

Here he is.

I don’t feel like going into who he was named after, especially since I usually skip over those explanations when I’m reading anyhow. The book that the Gen 6 names came from, however, is Way of Kings, by Brandon Sanderson. It is the first book in the Stormlight Archive series.
