SERVICE RECOMMENDATIONS: TITAN FLOW CONTROLDuplex Strainers are designed for use in fluid handling systemswhere the flow cannot be shut down for basket cleaning, such ascooling water, compressors, condensers, fire lines, lubricating sys-tems, salt and fresh water systems, chemical process systems, andpositive suction head service.

FEATURES: The diverter valves on TITAN FLOW CONTROLSpecialty Duplex Strainers are dual cylindrical design positivelyseparates clean fluid from contaminated fluid. It also means thatdiverting flow from one basket to the other is accomplished by asimple rotation of the handle. For an additional charge an equalizingarrangement for easy changover is available as an option. Thechamber in use is covered by the valve handle, allowing easy accessto the side to be serviced and preventing an accidental opening of thepressurized chamber. Sizes through 4 inches have quick release,non-yoke type knobs to facilitate cover removal for convenient basketservicing. Consult factory for pressure drop information.

The large open area ratio of the basket assures a minimum pressuredrop across the unit. Perforated stainless steel baskets are standardon all models unless otherwise specified.

TESTING: Shell test pressure =1-1/2 times working pressure.Valve seat test pressure= rated working pressure.

MATERIALS: Cast Iron ASTM a126-B, Carbon Steel ASTM A216Grade WCB, 316 Stainless Steel ASTM A351 Grade CF8M. BronzeASTM B62 (85-5-5-5).
