What is the Mobile Meter™ App?• Universal Handheld Hardware Platform• Growing range of wireless probes and modules • Universal Handheld (UHH) base unit that can display and

log the measurements on a dedicated device• Mobile wireless gateway (UHH-BTG) that can be

converted to Bluetooth SIG, Inc.’s low energy wireless technology so measurements are available on any Android® or Apple® Phone or tablet

• Library• Development of a library of instructions on how to

communicate with the wireless probes and modules so that other software developers can incorporate measurements directly to their software

Mobile Meter™ AppWhat is it?• Proof of concept of the new Dwyer

Instruments, Inc. library for communicating with our wireless probes / modules

• Free of charge mobile App available currently for Android® devices, but soon to be released for Apple® devices

• Mobile version of our Model UHH base instrument on a phone or tablet that works with all our wireless probes and modules

• 75 feet or Greater Wireless Distance Between Probes and Phone when used with the UHH-BTG Mobile Wireless Gateway

Mobile Wireless GatewayHow does it work?• UHH-BTG Mobile Wireless

Gateway converts wireless signals from our probes and modules to Bluetooth SIG, Inc. wireless technology

• Wireless signals are able to work with both iOS® devices and Android® Devices

• Integral Belt Clip • Rechargeable battery with

over 10 hours continuous life

Page 5: Dwyer's HVAC Mobile Meter™ App Explained

Mobile Meter™ Phone AppWhat does it do?• Displays parameter

values in gage and meter views similar• Area and K-Factor can be

entered for velocity and flow calculations• Logs measurements by

pushing button on probes or in app• Email log files directly

from phone

Pairing UHH-BG1 to Phone• Go to Bluetooth® menu

on your phone• Turn on the UHH-BTG

so that it is discoverable• Select the phone

bridge in the Bluetooth® menu• LED on the gateway will

start blinking blue once successfully paired

Page 8: Dwyer's HVAC Mobile Meter™ App Explained

Probe Selection• Launch the app on

the phone or tablet• Turn on probes and

modules to be paired with phone• App will list the

available probes• Touch the box next to

the probe(s) to be displayed

Page 9: Dwyer's HVAC Mobile Meter™ App Explained

Changing Settings• While viewing the

selected probe, click on the gear to access the settings• In the settings, you

can change the Engineering units, K-Factor, Area, type of duct, function, and display configuration

Page 10: Dwyer's HVAC Mobile Meter™ App Explained

Logging Measurements• Select desired probe

to log• Press log button on

lower left side of screen or press button on the probe handle• After log is complete,

you can view or email data

TraversIT® Mobile AppWhat is it?• Guided App that walks user through taking a traverse

reading of a duct using a Pitot tube or Thermo-Anemometer• Calculates where to take measurements based on duct size and

type

• Generates a Traverse report listing measurement points, static pressure (if pressure is available), statistics (maximum, minimum, average)

Expected Launch is Summer 2014!!!
