After a warm welcome by Directors and staff members, our guest Dr.M.Y.S.Prasad

paved his way towards the seminar hall.

Our guest of honor, Dr.M.Y.S.Prasad is greeted warmly by one of our student.

Dr. A.kailasarao sir, has addressed our chief guest’s, Mr.M.Y.S.Prasad and Mr.K.Satya

Prasad, Rector JNTUK and Chairman of IETE, Kakinada Centre.

Dr. K.Satya Prasad, Rector JNTUK and Chairman of IETE, Kakinada Centre, has

explained the importance of Satellite communication, and has shared his experiences

with the students of our college.

IETE Wing of Pragati Engineering College organized a guest lecture on 8th

august by our

chief guest Dr. M.Y.S.Prasad.

Our esteemed dignitary Mr.M.Y.S.Prasad deliverng his expert lecture on Space Research

and Space commumication to all the members in the seminar hall.

He delivered a lecture on “Satish Dhawan Space Centre SHAR, ISRO facilities and

activities”.

For this session Prof. K. Ananda Mohan, Director, Dr.G.Raghu Ram, Principal, Mr. V.

Prasanth, Head of the department ECE, Mrs. K.Rama Devi, Assoc.Prof, IETE Co-

ordinator, faculty members (15) and III, IV B.Tech students (220) were attended.

Speaker, Mr. Prasad gave a valuable speech on the importance of space research and space

communication ,has shown a video clip of rocket launching in SHAR. Their daily work in

launching a rocket,bringing it the launch,types of rocket ,their preparation ,encapsulation and

integration ,their working etc..

The lecture went on very interesting and the real world applications shown by the lecturer

were very useful to the students. The lecture gave good exposure to the students regarding the

applications and importance of the rockets in research and development.

The students were very much benifited with the lecture and many students took the chance

of interacting with the lecturer and have cleared their doubts.

Finally the most informative session on Space Research and Communication came to

end by presenting a momento to our guest M.Y.S.Prasad by our eminent personality

Dr.P.Krishna Rao.
