Extra-Curriculars, Important News & Events  

● Attention seniors- the Madison County Community Foundation Scholarship 

application is now OPEN! Go to www.madisonccf.org to see the list of scholarships 

available and apply. If you haven't asked for letters of recommendation yet, now is 

the time to do that so that the person who is writing it has plenty of time! All 

scholarships available are listed on the guidance webpage as well. Go to 

www.elwood.k12.in.us, click on Jr-Sr High School > Guidance > Scholarship 

Information > Scholarships Available. The Madison County Community Foundation 

scholarships will be listed along with several other scholarships. The local 

scholarship application is also one that has several different organizations tied to it. 

The paper application for the local scholarships is available in the guidance office, or 

you can download and print from the guidance website. Any questions please 

contact Mrs. Cunningham at rcunningham@elwood.k12.in.us. 

● The PSAT will be given on the morning of January 26th to the sophomores and 

juniors who signed up. This test must be given in person, so if you signed up and 

you're elearning, you will have to come in that day to take the test. More 

information including start and end time, room you will be testing in, and what to 

bring will be forthcoming. 

● Parents- don't be in the dark about your 

child's grades and progress! Get access to 

PowerSchool by signing up here.  

● Any high schooler who is interested in 

participating in boys or girls track and field 

this season needs to see Mr. Johnston to fill 

out the sign up sheet sometime this week. 

Pre-season workouts will begin on Monday.  

● NWEA Testing will begin January  

11th for all students at EJSHS.  

● Report cards for first semester 

will be sent home January 8th.

invited to sign up either through the guidance google classroom or in person at
