    e-WOOF is a bi-monthlye-newsletter produced by a

    small group of Wyoming dog

rescuers in an effort to high-

    ight shelter dogs in critical

    need of help.

e-WOOF spotlights manydogs that face euthanasia

    within days unless they

    are rescued, fostered,

    or adopted.

    Transport can be arranged,

    in most cases, to approved

    adoptive or foster homes

    or rescue organizations.

    Please help us! These are

    good, healthy, happy, lov-

ing dogs that are out of luck

and out of time. We urge you

    to crosspost to e-mail lists

    and Web groups, forward to

    friends, send to co-workers,

    and share with family. We

    hope our efforts, combined

    with yours, will save many

    ives.

Annie is a sweet senior Brittany girl (house-broken and cratetrained) who is looking for her forever home for her golden years. She is very spry at 11-years old; she loves to run and romp. Annieseems to be a retired birding dog, as she is quite deaf, but she is

VERY visually stimulated. She watches birds y and tracks themoverhead! She is a petite 30 pounds, and loves her dinners, petting,a good roll in the grass, and being near you. She is current on her

vaccinations, spayed, has had a dental (poor nutrition in her earlyyears led to her having 7 non-molar teeth removed... she just needsher food moistened), and is Heartworm negative. She just lovesher walks, and snufing in the grass and looking for birds. She isan absolute gem of a girl! She gets along with other dogs, as longas they arent pushy. She will be cat-tested. A home without youngchildren would be best (due to her deafness), and she will require a

very secure fenced area for exercise. She does play fetch and has agentle mouth. She will readily come to you when she sees you and

you wave for her. She would be a good candidate for a vibration

training collar. Her adoption fee is $200, or $100 if the adopter isover 60. Please go to the NBRAN website for an application. http://

BO is a 5 year old male Heeler/Catahoula mix. He has been with usfor almost 2 years. He is a great dog so we dont understand why hehas been here for so long! He is a staff favorite, and he always does

wonderfully at the dog park. He plays well with all the other dogsand he loves it. He would be best in a home without cats, becausehe would chase them. He loves to go for walks, loves the water, andloves to play with tennis balls. He would be great for an active fam-ily.

SUGAR is a 2 year old female Shepherd mix. She came to us as astray, and we were shocked that no one came looking for her. She is

very quiet and calm. She is a little bit timid, so she just needs a littlebit of extra love and patience. This sweet girl denitely deserves itthough! The people who found her did say she chased their cats, soshe would be best in a home without them.

SKILLET is a 6 year old Red Nose Pit. He is a giant baby whothinks he is a lap dog! He LOVES to go for walks and he LOVES tocuddle! He would be best in a home without cats or other dogs.

MILES is a small black twenty-one-month-old Kelpie/Aussie mixwho had not been handled or played with as a pup. Since he camein October, we have been working hard to get him used to humaninteraction and enjoying attention. He has really come a long waysand is now walking on a leash and coming up to people he knows.

He is a very nice dog and never showed any aggression even thoughhe was terried. He is always wagging his little stubby tail and wig-gles his whole body to show how much he likes your attention. Hemight do best in a quiet home as the only dog and most denitelyneeds a very gentle, patient person.

DOOGIE is a three-month-old black lab mix. He is a very ener-gized puppy and needs lots of training. He loves to play with all toysand needs to play a lot to burn off all his energy. Doogie is partiallyhouse trained and is great with other dogs and cats. He does well ona leash. He is good with all ages of people as he likes lots of loving. If

you come up to see him, remember he is still a young puppy.

Meet SWEETS! Her companion Dobby has been adopted andshe is now lonely in her kennel situation. She really needs out of thekennel and into a foster home if possible where she can get someexercise and socialization. Sweets was found with Dobby on the upramp to the interstate near Lodge Grass, Montana. She has been

vaccinated, vetted, and spayed. She would prefer a home without

rowdy dogs. Sweets is quiet and loves to hang out and get attention. She will be about 65 lbs. when she gets her weight back. She was verythin and went far too long without good food so she guards all foodfrom other dogs. But she has never been anything but cooperativeand kind with people and LOVES, LOVES, LOVES attention!
