BLAZE
e-WOOF is a bi-monthlye-newsletter produced by a
small group of Wyoming dog
rescuers in an effort to high-
ight shelter dogs in critical
need of help.
e-WOOF spotlights manydogs that face euthanasia
within days unless they
are rescued, fostered,
or adopted.
Transport can be arranged,
in most cases, to approved
adoptive or foster homes
or rescue organizations.
Please help us! These are
good, healthy, happy, lov-
ing dogs that are out of luck
and out of time. We urge you
to crosspost to e-mail lists
and Web groups, forward to
friends, send to co-workers,
and share with family. We
hope our efforts, combined
with yours, will save many
ives.

BLAZE. All Blaze needs is one lucky chance. Blaze is URGENTand SPECIAL NEEDSHe can go to RESCUE ONLYdue to onenip on the ankle, which did not break the skin. He nipped a 16 yearold kid who was moving rapidly. Perhaps because of his deafness, heis skittish. Because of the bite, Adams County Animal Shelter can-not adopt Him to the public and he must go to a rescue group whocan work with him, study his temperament, and nd him a goodhome or foster. Blaze is gentle, sweet-natured, intelligent, and only7 months old. He is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog and Great Pyre-nees. Cannot get any more mellow and smart than that! Impoundedsince mid July, he is VERY URGENT. THIS SHELTER WORKSHARD TO SAVE THEIR DOGS. You must call Erin before Sept23rd.

Currently, she is in an active foster home with 6 other ac-tive dogs and she is miserable--she would dearly love to nd a quietretirement home. Midnight is about 8 years old and a Lab-mix. Sheloves everyone. She would do best in a home with male dogs. She willpick on female dogs (especially the small ones) but is not vicious. She is house trained, but must be watched because when she hasto wait tool long to be let out she might have an accident. ALLIE is a a young Border Collie. She is less than two years oldprobably closer to 1 year. She can be a little timid to begin with butthen she warms up quickly to people. Allie walks nicely on a leashand is friendly with all the dogs that she has met so far. No cats forher as she wants to chase them but is learning to leave the house catalone. Sunbathing is a nice treat and she loves to get belly rubs. Shelikes to play with toys and is learning that you dont have to chewthem up. She is with a foster right now who lives in a condo withno yard so she has to be walked. Allie tends to have a bit of housetraining issues but most likely this is related to her having no yardfor exercise. Allie is a super sweet girl and might do best as a mostlyoutdoor gal or have easy access to the outside. Allie is spayed and
vaccinated and ready to go!____________

RORY is a one-year-old Great Pyrenees mix with a fantastic dis-
position. He loves to run and play with the other dogs, go for walksand play with toys. Hes a smart guy, very willing to learn, but hesdeaf. Our volunteers have been working with him on hand signals. He would do just ne with a patient person who is willing to put alittle effort and love into helping him. He is neutered, vaccinated and
will be microchipped at the time of adoption.
BOZEMAN is a large and quite handsome four-year-old red ChowChow mix. He showed no interest in toys when we photographed him
but the poor boy spent all his life on a chain with no attention, sohe might learn to play in... his new home. He was very shy when wegot him but has relaxed nicely. He loves going for walks and the dog
walkers report he walks very nicely on leash. Bozeman is completely
housetrained and gets along with most other dogs. Hes looking for ahome where he can have a great life and forget his early years. He isneutered, vaccinated, and will be microchipped at the time of adop-tion.
RANGER is a very active 2 year old German Shorthair Pointer. Heis a high drive, high energy boy, and denitely needs to be kept busyand given lots of exercise. He would be happy with a job, possiblyhunting. Ranger is a very friendly dog but would not be happy as justa pet in a yard. He is neutered, vaccinated, and will be microchippedat the time of adoption.
