September, 2006 - Honorary Co-Chairs Billy Frank Jr, Governor Chris Gregoire, and Bill Ruckleshaus launch E3 Washington with 250 diverse leaders from across WA.
2004 - Washington State legislature approves “Report Card on the State of EE”.

milestone, sustainbility increases . . .
March, 2006 - June, 2009 - Regional & sector summits held to create the E3 vision, and goals; 2,000 participants producing over 24,000 ideas and initiatives. January, 2010 - The E3 Washington Comprehensive Plan,
Vision, and Goals are widely published with the completion of E3 Washington’s website.
May, 2009 - ESE Specialty Endorsement for teachers approved by the Professional Educator Standards Board.
November, 2007 - Standard V.3.D. approved, requiring that teacher candidates learn how to facilitate student learning about sustainability.
November 2011 - Higher Education Survey reveals statewide campus work toward sustainable practices & learning.
July, 2011 - E3 Washington & partners �nish �rst year of work with school & community-linked teams to tackle school needs with sustainability learning strategies.
January, 2013 - E3 Washington regional survey identi�es over 50 programs in 21 local networks innovating ESE across all levels of society.
January, 2013 - State Summit leverages action on “Get Together” goal across regions & sectors.
September, 2012 - Since Time Immemorial - Tribal Sovereignty Curriculum website widely published.
September, 2009 - K-12 Integrated Environmental and Sustainability Learning Standards approved by OSPI.
