This is the entrance to East Meath United’s grounds.

Some people call East Meath United “EMU”

I will go through the gates when going to play soccer for East Meath United.

This is the car park.

The cars park here.

I will get out of the car and walk to the all weather pitch for soccer training.

This is the all weather pitch.

I will meet the coaches and their helpers here.

I will also meet the other boys and girls who are going to play soccer here. They will be called my teammates.

I will wear runners or football boots to play soccer.

The all weather pitch can have lots of small pitches on it for soccer, this is how it will look a lot of the time.

The coaches will have lots of different games for me and my teammates to play.

This is one of the goals that will be on the pitch.

In the match and some of the drills I will be trying to score in the goal.

The coaches might ask me to stand in a line.

When they ask me to do this I will stand beside everyone else and listen to the coach.

This is the Red card café.

This is where people serve hot tea and coffee mainly for the adults.

This is the toilet.

It is just beside the red card café.

I can use it whenever I want to but I should try to go before or after my training.

Sometimes the coaches will wear a blue jacket or jumper with the EMU logo on it.

The helpers might wear a hi-vis jacket

If I need any help or have any questions the coaches will help me.

I have now finished my training in East Meath Utd for today. I will say goodbye and come back the next time.
