Specific design details The 18m FRP walkway is constructed from 2x 36” sections of FRP Double Web Beam (DWB) that will span across a river. The walkways are 0.7M wide and ranged from 8M to 18M in length. The refuges are 0.7M wide x 1M in length. Type of composite used The walkways and refuges are constructed from highly durable EXTREN series 525 FRP plates, 610mm FRP I-Beam profiles and Safrail FRP handrails. Performance in service Installed performance exactly to specification, long term performance to be reported in time.
