EMS Indoor Track & Field2020-21

As with all sports, the development of our athletes is key.

We aim to help the athletes grow as individuals; it is important that the athletes reach out themselves when questions arise.

Please be sure that you check your email and SportsYou on a regular basis.

All athletes will be expected to complete the EHS Athletics Google Form by 2:30 each afternoon.

This will allow our coaches the ability to prepare for athletes at practice each day and will help curb unnecessary congregation of athletes.

EMS Indoor Track & Field2020-21

Athletes will be expected to wear masks and maintain social distancing.

Athletes who need a “mask break” can certainly step out of the workout

During any practices, stretching, team discussions, and coach-directed activities it is required that athletes both wear masks and maintain six feet of space from others.

A failure to comply will result in an athlete being asked to leave practice and, potentially, the team.

EMS Indoor Track & Field2020-21

Practices are required.

Athletes are expected to attend all practices, which start outside at 2:30 each afternoon. Be sure you are dressed for the proper weather, including dressing in layers, running shoes, and gloves.

A failure to adhere to the expectations will result in an athlete being asked to leave the team for the season.

EMS Indoor Track & Field2020-21

It is important to understand that there will be many shifts this season as a result of the coronavirus pandemic.

We are thankful that we can move forward with our upcoming season, even if it will look and feel different from what we have enjoyed in the past.

A plan is in place that will allow our athletes to have a safe and enjoyable season this winter.
