EASTER is celebrated in English-speaking countries but it'a a great tradition in
Ireland and the USA.
Can you guess what the symbols of Easter are ?
There are flowers, rabbits and eggs, chicks and new clothes. Why ?
In Spring it's a new life for nature with new flowers such as lilies , duffadils or
tulips.
Baby animals born in Spring represent Easter and new life.
Girls and women love wearing new clothes ( new dresses with floral prints) and Easter
hats.
Young boys like wearing new clothes too. They look like adults ! What are they
wearing ?
They are wearing new pants, a shirt with a tie, a waistcoat or a jacket , and sometimes a cap.
Babies ( baby boys and girls) are wearing bunny hats ( a bonnet with bunny ears) !
Families love having an Easter lunch . They traditionally eat ham and vegetables, eggs , buns ( small bread) and
chocolate cake.
People love eating food with the shape of a rabbit or a chick !
Children love eating chocolate bunnies or eggs and sugar chicks.
Died eggs is an Easter tradition.
The Easter egg hunt :parents hide eggs in their garden. Their children look
for eggs and put them into their Easter basket.
Every year , an Easter egg hunt is organized at the White House in washington D.C. Look
at President Obama next to a bunny !
