The word of God to be my speech, the hand of God to be my stay, the shield of God to be my strength, the path of God to be my way . Alleluia!

— attributed to St. Patrick

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away . For lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; the flow’rs appear on the earth, the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land . — Song of Solomon

ANTHEM At the Lamb’s High Feast . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Walter PelzAt the Lamb’s high feast we sing praise to our victorious King, Who hath washed us in the tide flowing from His wounded side; alleluia . Mighty victim from the sky, hell’s fierce pow’rs beneath Thee lie; Thou hast conquered in the fight, Thou hast brought us life and light . Easter triumph, Easter joy! Sin alone can this destroy; from sin’s pow’r do Thou set free souls newborn, O Lord, in Thee . Alleluia . Hymns of glory, songs of praise, Lord unto Thee we raise: Risen Lord, all praise to Thee with the Spirit ever be . Alleluia .

NEW MEMBER ONLINE INFORMATION SESSIONSunday, April 19, after WorshipFolks who want to find out more about the Marble Family and how they can become a part of it, please join our informational video call immediately following worship . If you are interested, please email Kim Sebastian-Ryan, KRyan@MarbleChurch .org, or Siobhan Tull, STull@MarbleChurch .org, by Wednesday, April 15.

EASTER OFFERING 2020“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.” — Matthew 25:35-36, NIV

By supporting the Easter Offering with our financial gifts and prayers, we have the opportunity to live into these words by the resurrected Jesus who rises on Easter Sunday so that we can all rise .

Unfortunately, COVID-19 will leave many of our neighbors, hungry, thirsty, naked and with restricted freedoms (mentally and physically) because of the lack of resources . Help us to rise alongside Jesus today and in the months ahead for those who will be

impacted . As Jesus said in Matthew 25:40, “Truly I tell you, whatever you did for the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me .” In other words, when we help others in need, we also give back to God .

Please prayerfully consider making a generous contribution to the Easter Offering; 100% of your contributions will go to well-vetted non-profits supporting these types of needs . Here are the ways in which you can give:

• Give online: MarbleChurch.org/give/easter-offering

• Click blue Easter Offering button below streaming window at MarbleChurch .org .

• Text GIVEMCC Easter and any amount to 73256 (standard messaging rates apply)

• Use Easter Offering envelope you received in the mail

• Call Clay Hale, 212-686-2770, ext . 252

We thank you, the Marble Community, for your ongoing support.

MARBLE’S MISSION PRIORITIESFor surely I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord,…to give you a future with hope.

– Jeremiah 29:11

Growing Deeper — Seeking to grow in our faith in God, we commit to being a safe place to explore what it means to follow the way of Jesus who, as our source of hope, leads us to new possibilities .

Growing Relationally — Seeking to grow in our relationships with God and one another, we commit to being good neighbors in the world by seeking peace and justice for all people and cultivating a community of healing, reconciliation and transformation .

Growing in Generosity — Seeking to grow in our generosity as a grateful response to God’s blessings in our lives, we recognize everything we have belongs to God, and we commit to giving and serving as acts of worship .

Growing Young Across Generations — Seeking to grow in our capacity to be a beacon of hope and life for all people, we commit to welcoming young people and their ideas, building an inter-generational community of respect, care and belonging .
