This is a quick and easy, but oh-so cuddly, baby blanket that is perfect as a gift for your newest little love. Follow along with the instructions below to make your own version of this baby blanket!

Supplies:2 pieces of fabric, cut 30x30 inchesoptional ribbon or trim for edging

Instructions: Step 1: Select 2 coordinating prints and cut them each 30x30

Step 2: Place fabrics wrong sides together with trim in the middle (straight edge out)

Step 3: Pin the layers and carefully sew a scant seam all the way around leaving a 3-4 inch opening. You could sew a regular ¼” seam if your trim is thicker. Mine was very thin.

Step 4: Turn blanket right side out

Step 5: Top stitch a scant seam around, just inside the lace trim.

Step 6: Finish the hole by carefully folding open edges down and sandwiching trim with a scant seam.
