Easy Mobility Services would like to give a warm welcome to our new and existing customers.

As we look back over 2013 and remember a lovely spring and a fabulous summer with some of the hottest days ever recorded we can hopefully keep these memories to stay warm in the months ahead. Two major

events that we have been fortunate to witness and enjoy this summer was firstly, the spectacular battle from Andy Murray to win 2013 Wimbledon Championships. Not since 1936 since Fred Perry claimed that title have we had another Champion. Secondly a heart warming moment when Catherine and William walked down the hospital

steps holding our future King George. Such a gorgeous baby! Now winter winds are blowing leaves away and the temperature has dropped significantly our thoughts are on keeping warm and

comfortable. Here at Easy Mobility we can hopefully offer some inspiration with advice and products that will keep you mobile and active.

Our retail mobility shop has been overun with enquiries to service and maintain mobility equipment and it makes perfect sense for us to have teamed up with Tendring Mobility Services who are based just round the corner from our shop in Clacton On Sea. We are very excited about our joining forces as we believe we now have the most experienced mobility engineers any mobility company could wish for. Bill Turner and Mike Sampford have 40 years of professional engineering experience. Having the fully equipped mobile workshop we can carry out most mobility scooter repairs and servicing on site.

Easy Mobility are the registered dealer for the Motability scheme in Essex.The scheme enables disabled people to use their government-funded mobility allowance to buy a new scooter or powered wheelchair.For those who receive the Higher Rate Mobility Allowance or the War Pensioners Mobility Supplement, you are entitled to take part in the Motability Scheme. The scheme is designed to help those with disabilities financially. Those who are eligible for the scheme will be able to use their allowance to get a new scooter or powered wheelchair from as little as £12 a week.

Comfort Rise and Recline ChairsThe electric rise and recline chairs supplied by us assist users to sit down stand up and elevate legs to relieve pressure. The armchairs are available in wide variety of styles, fabrics and can be ordered at a size to suit. We are able to vary the seat width depth and height according to your requirements. With a battery back up system you need not be concerned about power cuts. There is a range of armchairs in our showroom of varying sizes available for trying out – just watch you don’t fall asleep in one! If you cannot get into our showroom we are happy to arrange a visit at home and we will bring one or two chairs along for you to try. Available as optional extras with all chairs are neck pillows, arm protectors, scatter cushions, and even sofas in matching fabrics. Prices start from £595.

Making your stairs easierIf you are thinking about a stairlift here at Easy Mobility we offer a free no obligation survey to determine the best stairlift solution available. Unlike many of our competitors we fit the stairlifts ourselves with fully trained engineers, who will also service all major brands including; Brooks, Acorn, Stannah, Minnivator, Meditek and Freelift. We provide straight and curved stairlifts and also offer a bespoke carpentry service when it comes to unusual stairways. Most of our stairlift installations are through recommendation and we never pressurise. We can provide new and re-conditioned stairlifts and all come with warrantys.
