STEP1. Open the lid and fill the water reservoir with water. Make sure the water level in
the water reservoir is not over the ice collecting tray.
STEP2. Press button to turn the unit on
STEP3. Select desired ice size by pressing the ‘ice size” selector
The ice maker will begin to work.
1. The ice making process is as follow ● The water is pumped into the water reservoir ● Ice making cycle begins. Ice begins to be form on the evaporator “fingers”
Warning: Do not touch evaporator while unit is making ice. The evaporator will cause a
burn. ● Once the ice making cycle is complete, the water tray will tilt forward; the remaining
water will flow back to the water reservoir and the ice cubes will drop from the
“fingers”. You will hear a sound as the as the ice cubes are released. ● The water tray will tilt backward and the ice shovel will start to push the ice into the
ice collecting section. Once the water tray returns to its level position, the second ice
making cycle begins.
2. Check the water level in the water reservoir periodically. The ice maker will detect
and shortage of water and stop operating. The “water low” indicator will illuminate.
Press the ON/OFF button and fill the water reservoir, then restart the unit, Or fill
water to fill line when water comes in contact with water fill sensors, the ice maker
will restart automatically.
3. When the ice cubes have reach the ice bin full sensor, the unit will stop operating
and the “ice full” indicator will illuminate. When the ice is below the sensor the unit
will restart the cycle.
4. When the ambient temperature is lower than 15℃, the small or medium ice cubes
are recommended to select to avoid ice cubes clumping together.
5. For best performance, water temperature should be between 7℃ and 15℃ ,and
ambient temperature between 15℃ and 25℃.

1. When disassembling the unit, make sure the power is off and plug has been removed from
the wall socket, drain the water if necessary.
2. First remove the back panel, and then the side panels and lastly remove the lid/top panel.
3. Find the cause of the problem, see trouble shooting and the repair it.
Trouble shootingTrouble shootingTrouble shootingTrouble shooting
Finding the problem:
Turn the machine on and watch the scoops movement and whether or not water comes into the
tray, if cycle stops and ice is not being produced watch when lights start to
flash. You can now determine what the faulty part is by determining what was meant to happen
next. The part that controls the ice machines next function is the faulty part which needs an
adjustment or replacement.
1. The icon illuminates. One condition is that it means the water in the water
reservoir is empty, add water to the “fill line”, and the unit will turn on automatically with
icon off.
2. Ice scoop is hanging, or the tray is skew. The corners will have to be adjusted below the hinges.
Follow the adjustment details bellow.
Tray hanging – adjust scoop
Adjusting scoop
8
If scoop hinges have not broken simply bend the scoop allowing the scoop cover to slide back
underneath the tray hinges. Make sure to support the tray with your hands as to not put all strain
on scoop pins.
3. Tray starts to move back but gets stuck and lights start to flash. Your motor
needs to be adjusted forward. Follow the motor replacing steps.
Ice tray and scoop getting stuck – Motor needs to be adjusted.
If the ice tray is getting stuck at an angle at the back of the machine, you will need to adjust the
motor slightly forward.
Remove back left panel to expose the motor.
Loosen top screw and remove bottom screw.
Now retighten bottom screw in back screw hole.
9
This will adjust the scoop forward enough to no longer get stuck at the back of the unit
4. If water starts to enter the tray and stops and the light illuminates or both
lights start to flash and there is water in the reservoir, the float needs
replacement, or infer red lights could be faulty. Follow the float replacement instructions
bellow.
Very little water flows into tray – Float dirty or getting stuck
Open the back panel and find the float holder above the pump.
Remove cable tie from the top and bottom of the float.
Remove both screws to access the float.
10
Remove and replace float.
5. The system starts tray moves back and forth to upright position, no water enters the tray
and lights flash. Reason for fault is the water pump is faulty or wire
connection has disconnected from the power. Follow the instructions bellow.
No water coming in – pump faulty or wires loose
Remove back panel and right side panel. Now check the wire connections to the pump, if all is ok
your pump will need to be replaced.
Remove the 3 screws underneath the water outlet panel.
11
Remove the back right leg, it just turns out.
Remove the screw in the plate behind the pump.
Remove the cable ties and silicone tubing. (Make sure you have drained the ice machine first)
Slide the new pump in and connect the wires and silicone tubing, you will need to re-cable tie the
tubing.
6. The icon illuminates, it means that the ice collecting tray is full, ice cubes are ready
to be used. If icon illuminates soon after you start the unit, it is known that the ice
full sensor is faulty, and the infer red lights need replacement or the wires are not
connected to circuit board. Contact head office and we will talk you through replacing
these lights.
7. When turning on the machine the tray does not move and after a couple seconds the
lights flash. Possible causes;
A. Firstly an ice cube may be lodged between the water tray and evaporator, open the ice
machines lid and remove the ice, turn the water tray lightly, and then restart the ice maker.
B. Secondly there may be something wrong with motor or check wire connections and if
connections are good replace motor. Follow the bellow instructions. .
C. Lastly the turning axis (tray arm) is broken; you will need to replace the tray. (turn out the
fitting screw of the tray, move the evaporator for making enough space to move the tray, pull
up the left side of the tray (it just slides out), and then move out the right side from the fitting
hole; fit the tray in the opposite way) Follow the instruction bellow.
12
Scoop and tray not moving. – connecting arm on tray broken or motor is faulty.
Gently push the scoop and tray backward to feel if the tray is loose. If there is no or little
resistance the tray arm is broken.
Open the back left panel and check wires on motor are connected.
If they are remove the screws on the top and bottom of the motor and slide motor out.
Look at the plastic connection arm of the tray, is it broken?
If it is the tray will need to be replaced. If not turn on the power and check whether the motor arm
moves. If motor does not move, replace it.
Replacing the tray,
First remove back and side panels of unit.
Now remove top panel of unit, you will find the screws above the motor and underneath the lip of
13
the top cover of the ice machine as well as on the opposite side.
Now remove the motor by unscrewing the screw above and below motor.
Remove screws on the inside of ice machine holding the chrome evaporator in place and gently
bend it up not pinching the copper piping.
Looking from the front you would now slide the left side of the tray out and remove it.
Replace the tray and re-fit the evaporator and motor.
8. The tray moves up, up and up or down, down and down and the lights
flash. The tray movement micro switch if faulty check wire connections if connections are
good replace the micro switches. See replacing parts section.
Tray moves up, up, up or down, down, down – tray micro switches are faulty
Open back left panel and check if tray movement arm is making contact with the micro switches.
14
If this is the case but ice machine is still not registering that the tray is up or down these micro
switches need to be replaced.
Replacing the micro switches.
Remove back panel and side panels.
You will see a screw in the centre of the tray’s movement arm.
Remove screw and the arm.
Remove micro switch plate and follow wires back to the circuit board.
Unclip and clip in the new part.
15
This will solve the problem.
9. The ice machine is producing white ice staring with large blocks on first “fingers” and
ending with very small blocks on the last “fingers”, or perhaps no blocks being produced on
last “fingers”.
A. Check that the condenser is clean and free of dust. To clean condenser remove the back
left panel and remove dust with a vacuum cleaner or paint brush.
B. Check that there is sufficient ventilation and or level. If the ice machine is up against a
wall and has boxes or appliances up against side panel remove and place in a place where air
is able to pass freely through the unit.
C. Check that the fan is turning on during production of ice. Fan not turning on is due to loose
wires, a fault with the fan or a fault with the high pressure switch.
D. There is a gas leak or a partial blockage in the system. Filter dryers need replacement, the
leak needs to be found and sealed and then the system will need a re-gas.
10. The ice machine is producing small clear blocks of ice even on the large ice setting.
There is a leakage with the by-pass magnetic solenoid valve. High pressure gas or hot gas is
passing through to the evaporator and causing the evaporator not to reach a low enough
temperature. It is possible that the valve is failing to return to its original position, which
makes the hot gas flow to the evaporator, so the ice making procedure is failing. Try knocking
the valve lightly, if this does not solve the problem you will need to replace the part and
re-gas the unit.
11. Ice cubes are not dropping from fingers.
A. Check size of ice blocks, if the ice blocks are sticking together because they are to large,
adjust the ice blocks being produced to medium or small. The water temperature or room
temperature is to low and causing the ice to form to quickly.
B. The high pressure valve or by-pass magnetic solenoid valve is not opening correctly; check
if the solenoids electro magnet is still turning on. If it is turning on the high pressure switch
will need to be replaced and system will need a re-gas.
12. The power lamp is off after connected to the power. Possible reasons are that the
connection of the power plug and power socket is bad, at this time , change the power plug ;
Or the fuse of the circuit board is burn out, at that time , check if the circuit board is normal,
and then change the fuse.
