Skills DevelopmentPhotoshop Editing Colour
To edit the background around my model I first needed to make sure I had selected the correct Layer to avoid destructive editing (loosing the original image)
To separate the background from the model I used the quick selection tool, making sure that the area selected is only the background and not overlapping the model I used the toolbar and went to image, adjustments
and then color balance. This allowed to change the colour of the area selected while keeping the shadows and highlights.
By moving the different sliders it allows me to add whatever colour tint I want to the backdrop.
To change the colour's of the shadows or highlights alongside the midtone colour I have added I can use the Tone balance area.
