We had different communi 

Students made their very own apple pies while studying apples. Students got to cut the dough and measure the apple filling. We baked them in the lunch room with the help of the lunch ladies. Students go to eat them. Students learned about apples, measuring, and their 5 senses. 

We had a shaped party at the end of our shape math unit. Students had to follow a recipe using different shapes of food. Our Shape Recipe:1 Chocolate Wafer (rectangle),2 Nilla Wafers (circles),3 Doritos (Triangles), 4 Cheez-its (squares), 5 Oyster Crackers(hexagons)

We went on a field trip to Lazenby Farms during our pumpkin and farm animal unit. Students saw and learned about pumpkins, farm animals, corn, and cotton. Students even got to take their own pumpkin home with them.

Our class receives a piece to Mr. Potato head when they as a class do something good. Mr. Potato head starts off with no pieces. Once Mr. Potato head has all of his pieces they get a class treat. The first time they filled him up they voted on pajama day!
