CBD—Shopping habits have changed dramatically and high streets are no longer an essential part of our lives. This has drastically changed the way we use our city centres. In poorer parts of the world the rapid rate of urbanisaon has caused squaer selements to develop. Rapid rates of rural– urban migraon do not allow for adequate houses to be built. This can lead to some of the most squalid and dangerous communies. Squaer selements can be found all over the world. Some famous ones are the Rio de Janeiro Favelas and Kibera in Nairobi
