FullerMiddleSchool(FMS)ispresentlyinitsfourthyearofdesignandimplementationofaSTEAM(Science,Technology,Engineering,ArtsandMathematics)curriculuminitiative,whichispartofadistrict-wideeffortwithinFraminghamPublicSchools(FPS)todeliverinstructionthroughaproject-based,interdisciplinarymodelthatengagesstudentthroughinquiryandemphasizes21CenturySkills.Theopportunityfortheschooltodesignarenovatedand/ornewfacilitythroughtheMSBAFeasibilityStudyprocess,hasFMSteachers,administrators,studentsandparentshighlyexcitedabouttheprospectofcreatingaphysicalenvironmentthatwillbringtheschool’sdynamicandevolvingeducationalprogramfullytolife.Additionally,thedistrictseesthisprojectasanopportunitytore-imagineFullerMiddleSchoolintheeyesofFraminghamresidents,andhaveitserveasbothabeaconandaresourcetothecommunity.
