National Simultaneous Storytime

‘Alpacas with Maracas’ Last Wednesday, all classes participated in the National Simultaneous Storytime. Every year a picture book, written and illustrated by an Australian author and illustrator, is read simultaneously in libraries, schools etc around the country. Now in its 19th year, it is a colourful, vibrant, fun event that aims to promote the value of reading and literacy.

Reconciliation Week This week we are acknowledging ‘Reconciliation Week’. All classes will be participating in a variety of activities in the classroom.

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia. This year’s theme is ‘Grounded in Truth, Walk Together with Courage’.
