Developing a Great Proposal• #1: Make reviewing your proposal as easy as possible• Show your passion• Start early, especially when you ask for reference

letters, draft reviews, feedback, etc• Follow all instructions; double-check everything; ASK

if you have questions• Answer every question in the application; use the

guides and checklists provided• Don’t promise too much• Address any conflicting advice you get
