The Environmental Protection Agency has developed the clean power plan which sets the first national limits on carbon pollution.
The gasoline cars has the highest pollution rate next to the diesel engine cars.
In the past few years, more cleaner engines have been made which resulted in a drastic fall in their emission level but it still needs to go down.

Theory of Operation
7
The Hydrogen tank supplies hydrogen gas to the Fuel Cell
The fuel cell uses the hydrogen gas and air to produce electricity and water
The microcontroller sends a pulse to a relay that allows and cut gas flow through the solenoid valve to the fuel cell

Theory of Operation
8
The voltage produced charge the batteries which run the motor
The Microcontroller sends a pulse to the relays to close or open when either of the battery is full or empty respectively

The diodes prevent fly back which is a sudden voltage spike when the voltage is removed
The transistor activates the relay when it receives a pulse from the arduino

Theory of Operation The PEMFC combines H2 and O2 to produce electric charge and H2O.
The current sensors monitor the current flow while the voltage generated charge the batteries that run the motor.
The transistor energizes the relay to allow current flow to the other components.
The Arduino microcontroller runs a program code that sends out pulses to the transistor to maintain a balanced system.

Introduction Description Graphics Theory Closure
Theory of Operation The electric motor is a mechanical device that contain coils wrapped around a magnet to convert electrical energy to mechanical energy.
The solenoid valve is an electromechanically operated valve that energizes when the relay energizes to allow for the gas to flow through and de-energizes when the power to the relay is cut off.
The charger provide constant current and constant voltage to charge the batteries.

We had many issues with getting the Arduino code to work right.
We did not run our hydrogen on every test so as to preserve it for today.
The mechanical relays where too slow to function which affected the sensor reading.
We made sure all our components did not have a short or cause an open circuit.

This concept of combining the Hydrogen car system with the EV Electric cars is not yet known widely and there is very little research on it. We hope more research will be carried out in the nearest future to create a more cleaner environment for us all and the future generations.
