Attendee experience guide Are you ready to turn Las Vegas green and elevate your cloud data management strategy? In its sixth year, VeeamON is going to be bigger and better than ever, and we’ve got you covered with our experience guide for first-timers and seasoned pros.
Accessibility First and foremost, we are committed to ensuring that VeeamON 2020 is accessible to ALL attendees. For support in planning your experience, please fill out the accessibility questionnaire, part of the VeeamON 2020 registration process, and a team member will contact you. How can I prepare?Well, some would say that you are never fully prepared for VeeamON because it’s always an unforgettable experience. To maximize your time at the conference, attendees are encouraged to get ready by:
• Travel — Book and confirm your travel arrangements in advance! If you are traveling from outside the U.S., check to make sure you have a valid passport and visa (if needed).
• Education — Review the breakout sessions and pre-register to reserve your spot when the agenda builder goes live closer to the event. Sessions can be popular, so it’s important to have a plan A and even a plan B.
• Mobile app — Download the app in advance and create your profile for the conference. This will allow you to manage all aspects of your participation — from sessions to activities — and connect you with your fellow attendees.
• Logistics — Become familiar with the conference center and hotel layout by reviewing the map in the VeeamON mobile app and on the website.
• Meetings and collaboration — Create your profile on the VeeamON app so you can maximize your networking time on site by making critical connections and appointments in advance.
When should I arrive?Those attendees attending VMCE training should plan to arrive the day before their training starts. If you are attending VeeamON 2020 only, then most arrivals will take place in the early afternoon of Monday, May 4 before the opening of the Exhibit Hall and evening welcome reception.
What should I wear?Most attendees will be in business casual. Nice jeans or trousers with polo, blouse or dress shirt or dress with optional sport coat or blazer for meetings or evening outings. Remember to wear layers as the conference center can range from drafty to stuffy, and you want to be comfortable. You will be racking up steps, so remember to pack comfortable footwear options that will keep you going all day long.

What should I bring? Pro tips from some of our attendees include chargers, comfortable shoes, protein bars and something with which to stay hydrated. It’s all about creating your conference survival kit. Here are some suggestions:
• Chargers, power banks and converters
• A good bag or backpack
• Business cards
• Notebook
• Comfortable shoes
• Gum and mints — First impressions count!
• Snacks — While we will have breaks, if you’re at your best with that specialty protein bar you can only find at home — bring it!
• Flair — We are a spirited community, so wear your flair! From Veeam® green to custom tees and VeeamON conference pins…I mean, did you see Ratmir’s shoes this past year? So, you do you!
