art Meets fasHion is a week-long celebration inspired by the upcoming major exhibition HAlSTON ANd WARHOl:

SIlVER ANd SuEdE, to benefit the Art Center’s FREE Admission Policy, Outreach, and Educational programming.

WindoW dressings is the first in this series of events, including ElIEl’S ClOSET: A Pop-up Boutique in the

Art Center lobby, FASHION FARE, a stylish luncheon, a black tie gAlA, a fashion film series, and much more.

WindoW dressings features fashion-inspired window displays created by local artists in businesses of des Moines’

historic East Village. Be the first to view the displays at the WINdOW dRESSINgS Open House on Saturday, September 13

from 5:30 – 8 pm. Wristband-tickets are $20 ($15 Art Center members) and give guests the opportunity to mingle with artists,

shop owners, fellow art lovers, and enjoy refreshments at this ART MEETS FASHION kick-off event. To purchase wristband-

tickets in advance, visit desmoinesartcenter.org or stop into the Art Center Museum Shop. The night of the event, purchase
