EMOTOPIC emollients are based on natural oils – a compilation of Canola oil and hempseed oil – which soothe itching, burning and inflammation. Hempseed oil is extremely rich in essential fatty acids (EFAs) and saturated fatty acids, which form a barrier to protect the skin against environmental aggressors and water loss. It also contains vitamins A, D, E, and minerals. Canola oil boasts a very high content of natural sterols, and is particularly rich in natural vitamin E. It’s soothing and anti-inflammatory properties are comparable to those of steroids (1% of hydrocortisone). Together these two oils stimulate the regeneration of microdamage in the skin and strengthen the natural hydro-lipid barrier.
As one of the leading cosmetics companies, we reach beyond minimum standards. Therefore we have conducted multiple stage research of the safety and effectiveness of the EMOTOPIC series among patients with dry skin and AD symptoms. The research concerned safety evaluation with the use of in vitro methods and research, involving patients of varied age and coping with various intensity degrees of AD symptoms. It was conducted at 6 independent research institutes under dermatological supervision. The research confirmed that the products exhibit a high threshold of tolerance and high effectiveness in dry and atopic skin care. Innovative research on safety evaluation and effectiveness with the use of EMOTOPIC preparations made a significant research contribution to world-class science.
