WALK-IN-WRITTEN TEST/ INTERVIEW (EMPLOYMENT NOTIFICATION)

Date: 20th April , 2020.

Applications are invited from eligible candidates for the following positions under the research project entitled: "Mycotoxin exposure, intestinal inflammation and childhood stunting in India". The project is funded by University of Aberdeen, UK and ICMR-NIN is executing agency. Applications will be received from the individuals by hand on the date of Walk-in-Written Test/ Interview between 9:30 A.M. and 10:30 AM. at National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad. The candidate will not be allowed to enter the Institute after 10:30 A.M. under any circumstances. The Candidates may download the application form from www.nin.res.in/ www.icmr.nic.in. If the candidates are not able to download the application form, it will be provided to the candidates at the venue on the date of Walk-in-Written Test/ Interview. The applicants are advised to visit our website regularly for any updates and changes in the recruitment.

Selection Procedure: Interview will be conducted for the eligible candidates after verification of the Certificates. However, if more number of candidates are found eligible for the post advertised, Written Test/ Skill Test will also be conducted on the same day for final round of Interview.

e. Nature of duties To review and analyze the papers on mycotoxin contamination of foods mycotoxin exposure and gut inflammation and impact on child nutritional status in India; Interpretation of data analysis and report preparation.

of retirement and having at least 20 years experience in the required domain/ field .

d. Desirable Experience in mycotoxin risk assessment, assessing dietary mycotoxin exposure in human populations, analysis of mycotoxin in food.

e. Nature of duties To review and analyze the papers on mycotoxin exposure and association with chronic diseases; To plan the study design for the conduct of field studies on dietary mycotoxin exposure, gut inflammation and child stunting in regions of south India; To contribute to the provision of data to undertake and develop statistical modelling approaches to determine dietary mycotoxin exposure in India; To summarise and report on research progress and findings through project meetings; To coordinate project meetings;

Computer Technology/ Information Technology/ Computer Science from a recognized Institution/ University with two years of experience in relevant areas of programming or information system in government, autonomous, PSU, etc. recognized organizations.

d. Desirable 2-3 years experience of data management preferably in research studies. Knowledge on any programming language.

e. Nature of duties Maintaining operating systems and server maintenance, analyzing algorithms, providing technical support, troubleshooting system errors, managing data bases. Writing computer instructions, managing database systems.

f. Age* 30 years. Age relaxation is admissible as per ICMR guidelines.

g. Cons. Emoluments Rs.32 ,000-00 p.m. fixed without any allowances.

h. Tenure 4 months only.

i. Place of work ICMR-NIN, Hyderabad.

*Age Concession: Age relaxation is admissible in respect of SCI ST/ OBC candidates, Retrenched Government Employees, Departmental Candidates (including projects), and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with the instructions issued by the Central Government from time to time. Age concession to the extent of service rendered in other research projects will also be admissible for experienced and skilled persons.

The candidates should bring all original certificates of educational qualifications {from SSC onwards), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PH Certificates along with one set of photocopies of the same duly attested (can be self attested) along with a passport size photograph for attending the Written Test/ Interview. The persons belonging to Other Backward Category should bring the latest 0 .8.C. (Non-creamy layer) Certificate issued by the respective Tahsildar/ MRO specifically issued for the purpose of applying for Central Government Posts. No TA/ DA will be paid for attending the Written Test/ Interview. The recruited project staff is eligible for leave as per rules and will have to give an undertaking before joining. GENERAL CONDITIONS: The conditions of employment will be the same as that of the project staff on contract basis. The candidates have no right to claim for any regular employment at this Institute. The Director & Appointing Authority has the right to accept/ reject any application without assigning any reason(s) and no correspondence in this matter will be entertained. Age, qualifications, etc., will be reckoned as on the date of Interview.
