Empower School of Health is India Chapter of International Association of Public Health Logisticians

The India chapter of IAPHL is managed and administered by Empower School ofHealth.

The chapter promotes the IAPHL mission of supporting the professionalization ofsupply chain officers and managers in India and others working in the field of publichealth logistics and commodity security. The objective of this chapter is to promote theimportance of “Supply Chain” in public health programs in India. The chapter is opento all the public health and other healthcare professionals.

Concept Foundation: Empower worked in identifying Quality Assured manufacturers in India for Oxytocin who would be interested in going through the WHO Prequalification procedure

Supported purchase of over $60 million of medicines for UNRWA, including identifying new suppliers of medicines from India and other parts of the world

Empower has conducted several GMP inspections on behalf of procurement agencies for manufacturers based in India

Empower has a pool of GMP inspectors who have national / international experience in conducting GMP inspections

The inspections are carried out in conformance to the current GMP guidelines of WHO

Empower supports various clients in conducting Pre-shipment testing of pharmaceuticals through the empaneled laboratories.
