ConFErEnCE dESCriptionEMSAAC’s Conference Committee 2012 presents this two-day program designed to help EMS professionals learn from the past and navigate through the future with new leadership concepts and skills. How can we learn from the past to perfect what we do today and in the future? How will our new leadership skills help us navi-gate through calm and rough seas? The conference will provide strategies to help leaders “take the helm” and make necessary change as we sail towards healthcare reform, regulatory changes and medical advances. The conference is focused on leadership with a cross section of additional key EMS issues to be addressed–from real disaster and multi-casualty experiences, current research, and field advances to dealing with the legislative process and finding out if response times make a difference, AND MORE...
