Stainless Steel Terminal Box
N-TB
Highest Quality
Wherever highest requirements to mechanical and chemical strength is needed many years of experience in designing and manufacturing of explosion protected metal terminal enclosures secures the needs.
For harsh and hazardous environments
The N-TB enclosure has been specifically designed for instal-lation in locations with aggres-sively hostile environmental conditions.
These include such locations as petrochemical hazardous areas, pharmaceutical, food process and utility applications. Manufactured from high quality stainless steel that is electro-polished for a highly corrosion resistant „Chromium enriched“ surface.
This multi certified enclosure is available in a comprehensive range of 17 different sizes and two depths, each with the facility for many configuration possibilities for a multitude of applications.
Using the highest quality mate-rials, unique design benefits and precision manufacturing the N-TB range is the bench-mark in heavy-duty gauge enclosures of its class with a 25 year design life. An integral drainage channel prevents liq-uids or other solid contaminates from running in or falling into the enclosure when the door is
opened, and to minimise gas-ket path contamination.
The high integrity „one piece“ sealing gasket has superior ingress protection IP66 and excellent recovery and re-seal-ing properties for continuous environmental protection. An option for the mounting of up
to four 3 mm thick gland-plates in 4 possible combinations of 1, 2, 3 or 4 gland-plates.
All sealed to IP66 by a high integrity silicone gasket and secured by stainless steel bolts into blind inserts.

PowerPlus™ Series Panelboards provideboth premium factory-sealed and valuenon-factory-sealed solutions for theprotection and distribution of lighting, power, and heat tracing circuits. This panelsolution is designed, engineered, andmanufactured to be the industry’s safestand most dependable panelboard forhazardous area locations.
PowerPlus Premium andValue Solutions• Premium Solution: PowerPlus factory-
sealed panelboards are premiumpanelboards that provide maximumcircuit flexibility with labor savings duringinstallation, operation, and maintenance, and are accommodating for futurechanges in the field (order with either“S” or “A” in base part number). Panelsare pre-wired to maximum circuitcapacity, allowing for easy and safereplacement or installation ofcomponents in the field, whilemaintaining factory-sealed integrity.
• Value Solution: PowerPlus non-factory-sealed panelboards are valuepanelboards that offer maximum circuitflexibility and many of the same featuresand benefits of the PowerPlus premiumline. This value solution is providedwithout terminal housing and factorywiring of circuits (order with “N” in basepart number). The non-factory-sealedsolution reduces initial panelboardmaterial costs and requires field wiringto circuit breakers and external seals tobe field-installed during installation.
Applications:EPL and D2L PowerPlus™ panelboards areused:• In areas made hazardous by the
continuous or abnormal presence offlammable gases, vapors, andcombustible dusts
• In areas subject to weather, dampness, and corrosion
• For branch power distribution and circuitprotection to motors, valves, pumps, lighting, heat tracing, receptacles, etc.
• For indoor and outdoor applications inpetroleum refineries, chemical andpetrochemical plants, and other processindustry facilities where similar hazardsexist
• To accommodate up to 100 amp branchloads (only 3 circuits), balance is up to50 amps

PowerEXD Series (Div. 1 & 2)D2D Series (Div. 2)
PowerPlus Premium andValue Solutions• Premium Solution: PowerPlus factory-
sealed panelboards are premiumpanelboards that provide maximumcircuit flexibility with labor savings duringinstallation, operation, and maintenance, and are accommodating for futurechanges in the field (order with either “S”or “A” in base part number). Panels arepre-wired to maximum circuit capacity, allowing for easy and safe replacementor installation of components in the field, while maintaining factory-sealed integrity.
The non-factory-sealedsolution reduces initial panelboardmaterial costs and requires field wiring tocircuit breakers and external seals to befield-installed during installation.
Applications:EXD and D2D PowerPlus™ panelboards areused:• In areas made hazardous by the
continuous or abnormal presence offlammable gases, vapors, andcombustible dusts
• In areas subject to weather, dampness, and corrosion
• For branch power distribution and circuitprotection to motors, valves, pumps, lighting, heat tracing, receptacles, etc.
• For indoor and outdoor applications inpetroleum refineries, chemical andpetrochemical plants, and other processindustry facilities where similar hazardsexist
• To accommodate up to 100 amp branchloads (only 3 circuits), balance is up to50 amps

Ordering Information:Panelboards are available with single-pole and two-pole, 15, 20, or 30 ampere circuitbreakers. To order a panelboard with all breakers of the same rating, add the desired ratingas a suffix to the Cat. No. For example, the 12 circuit D2PB1512 panelboard with all thecircuit breakers rated at 20 amperes would be ordered as D2PB1512-20.Panelboards shown below can also be furnished with an assortment of single-pole and two-pole breakers and breaker ampere ratings. To order, the quantities of breakers and ampereratings are added as a suffix to the Cat. No. The total number of poles will determine thepanel size (24 poles maximum), and the wiring systems must be compatible whencombining single- and two-pole circuit breakers. For example, a typical D2PB panelboardwith a combination of 3 single-pole 15 ampere, 3 single-pole 20 ampere, 2 single-pole 30ampere, 4 two-pole 20 ampere, and 4 two-pole 30 ampere circuit breakers would be
D2CB12-20
Replacement CircuitBreaker AssembliesWhere D2PB (and N2PB) panelboards havebeen ordered with less than the maximumnumber of circuit breakers, breakers caneasily be added in the field. Circuit breakerassemblies for field addition orreplacement are listed below; they consistof the breaker itself in its factory sealedClass I, Division 2, Groups C, D enclosure, and necessary mounting hardware. Theseassemblies are not suitable for use asindividually mounted units.
Circuit Breaker Assembliesordered as D2PB2508-315-320-230-808-420-430. The total number of poles is 24 andwiring systems 5 and 8 are compatible 4 wire, 3 phase.

The D2PB with a main breaker is available up to 100 amps. To order D2PB with mainbreaker, add the appropriate suffix. Example: D2PB1512-15 with three-pole, 100 amp maincircuit breaker would be ordered as D2PB1512-15-3M100. If two-pole main is required, change the number 3 to 2. If a lower trip rating than 100 is required, the suffix will changeaccordingly.
