People nd meaning in many different ways, but we share a common need to connect in order to be ful lled. In a city saturated with experiences, information, and ideas, we seek purpose by connecting to others, to our work, and to the world at large. And as makers, we aspire to shape that world. So how can the experiences we create propel us toward communities that give us a greater sense of purpose? How can we make “making” meaningful?

NBBJ presents THE MAKER’S MIND, an evening with ve New York City makers representing design, business, technology and art. In rapid succession – each presenting 20 slides, 20 seconds each – they will share how they make things that shape the world in a meaningful way. We will enjoy Bronx Baking Co Pretzels and beer, plus (weather permitting) views of a beautiful sunset over New York Harbor.

Join us Thursday, July 31st from 6 to 8pm for an inspiring evening. Note that due to limited space, we can only accommodate the rst 50 people who respond. Please RSVP at [email protected]
