ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

The Department of Mechanical Engineering came into existence in the year 2006 with the aim to meet the requirement of the industries and academia. The Department imparts practical insights to the students through well equipped state-of-the-art laboratories, Industrial visits and Value Addition Courses. The SMC Pneumatics Centre of Excellence in the department symbolizes our industry-academia connect to promote interdisciplinary approach in engineering education in the field of industrial automation. The department has well qualified and experienced faculty members. The department emphasizes the research and consultancy activities through projects and publications in reputed journals. Eminent national & international speakers are regularly invited by the department to explore new avenues of Research and Development.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The first conference of this series was held during April 10-11, 2015 in technical collaboration with Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), New Delhi. Some of the selected papers from the last conference have been published in peer reviewed international journal and the complete conference proceeding is indexed in Google Scholar. The 2nd International Conference on Advancements and Recent Innovations in Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering

(ARIMPIE-2016) is scheduled during April 15-16, 2016.

CONFERENCE AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

ARIMPIE-2016 aims to bring together professionals, academicians, researchers and industrialists to exchange and share their experiences and research results about various aspects of Mechanical, Production and Industrial Engineering. Abstracts not exceeding 300 words on any of the aforesaid themes should be sent to the Organizing Secretaries of the conference through email

at latest by 29/02/2016. The authors are requested to use MS word 12 point Times New Roman font with single line arimpie2016@its.edu.inspacing. The affiliation, phone and fax numbers with e-mail address of the author(s) must be included and corresponding authors must be identified. The abstract will be reviewed by the technical committee before acceptance.

SUBMISSION OF FULL PAPER

Authors of the accepted papers will be requested to submit the MS word electronic version of their full length research paper of maximum

six pages in IEEE format by the due date through email only. The papers accepted for presentation and publication will be included in the proceedings, subject to the condition that each paper must be supported by separate registration for the conference
