Wills and Gifts Explained
One of the most satisfying things that we can do as Masons is to leave a legacy for someone
or something we care deeply about. In order to assist in making decisions regarding planned giving, Grand Lodge has developed a
brochure entitled:“A Guide to Wills & Trusts in Florida.”Ask your Lodge Secretary for a copy
CHAPLAIN’S CORNER
The first page in my Masonic Bible states that mankind was created by one Godand that God is the author of all life. God’s existence is revealed to man throughfaith and the Holy Book of Scriptures. Freemasons have three great lights. One of
those lights is the Holy Book of Faith which is the ultimate authority of our actionsand relationships to our fellow man. Please use, read and study the book as a guide
in your daily life.W\ Harry Shaffer Jr., 33°

MASONIC EDUCATION
OVER THE LAST MONTH WE HAVE DISCUSSED THE SEVEN LIBERAL ARTS AND SCIENCES. INTODAYS’ WORLD, THREE OF THE SEVEN WORK TOGETHER AND ARE VERY IMPORTANT TO US AS
MEN AND MASONS. THEY DETERMINE HOW WE RELATE TO EACH OTHER ONE ON ONE AND INPUBLIC. THE FIRST IS LOGIC, WHICH IS THE SCIENCE OF REASONING. IT ENABLES US TO FORM
CLEAR AND DISTINCT IDEAS IN THOUGHT AND LANGUAGE. THE SECOND IS RHETORIC WHICH ISTHE ART OF USING WORDS IN BOTH PRIVATE AND PUBLIC SPEAKING. THE THIRD IS GRAMMAR,WHICH IS USING AND UNDERSTANDING WORDS WHEN SPEAKING AND EXPRESSING OUR IDEAS
APPROPRIATELY IN WRITING.
