Understanding

This document explains the information about Enhanced Color Swatch Magento extension. The

main function of this extension is that it allows store admin to add multiple images for a product

and have them changed based on the color options. The extension also allows your customers

to see the exact product based on the color they select.

Features

This extension has the capability to show category listings page..

Preview Product image based on the selected color.

Get product main image changed based on the color selected

Usage Magento Core Libraries, so easy to customize.

Steps to be taken for Installation

>>Step-1. Login with your Magento admin.

>>Step-2. Go to system -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager

>>Step- 3. Login with Magento Connect Manager (with your Magento admin credentials)

>>Step-4. Upload package file (purchased file) in direct package file upload section and click on upload.

>>Step-5. Return to Magento admin and clear cache from System -> Cache Management

>>Step-6. Logout from Magento admin and re-login.

How to Create Custom Attribute for Color Swatch Images?

>>Step-1. Go to Catalog-> Manage Attribute

>>Step-2. Click on Add New Attribute

>>Step-3. Add Attribute Details -> Go to Manage Label Options

>>Step-4. Create the color options ex: I have created three color's Blue, Black and green and save attribute.

>>Step-5. Goto Extension Configuration-> Color swatch -> Select our Custom Attribute ->

>>Step-6. Goto Catalog-> Manage Attributes -> Select our Custom Attribute -> Manage

>>Step-7. Upload Swatch Images -> Save Attribute

How to Save Attribute in Attribute Set?

>>Step-1. Goto Catalog -> Attributes -> Manage Attributes Sets

>>Step-2. Add your Custom Attribute on Default Set Attribute -> Save Attribute Set

Setting up Configurable Product

>>Step-1. Create a configurable product along with your custom attribute.

>>Step-2. Fill all the product information -> Upload the main image that you want to show on listing and create associated products as per the color combination using quick product creation and save.
