motivated and challenged, enable the learners to apply what they have learnt in one subject area to newly encountered situations in another.

It will enable them to relate what they have learned to real life.

In one of the seminars organized by British Council and Microsoft in Philippines, they identified following 8 deep learning skills that be incorporated in their curriculum, instruction strategies, and other educational initiatives in their schools. They are:

The goal of new pedagogy is to make the learner, independent in learning so that he can design and manage the learning process effectively.

1. Students mastery of learning process including learning new content

3. Their proactive temperament and levels of perseverance as far as tackling challenges are concerned

• Designing Engaging Webinars• Aiming for the high-impact moments in training technical, software,

compliance and other topics• Offering technical knowledge with sporadic experiences• Creating impressive small bites and chunks of ideas that matter• Finding the right interactive story: incidents, trouble-shooting,

problem-solving, cases, workarounds, etc.• Adding the story types: analogy, humor, meme, metaphor, simile

etc.• Making presentations come alive with characters and visualization
