Inspector. Jack also stated that he worked as amanager at an appliance store, drove a Grey-hound bus and worked in a machine shop as amachinist. Jack served in the United StatesNavy during World War II from 1943 to 1946.Jack's tour of duty was in the north Atlanticarea. Jack left the Navy as a Machinist MateSecond Class. Jack's hobbies include wood-working and carpentry and has built four of hisown homes.

F. He is from the village of Romeo Michiganlocated about thirty miles outside Detroit andresided there for twenty years. November 22ndmarked seventy-two years of marriage for heand his wife Catherine (Congratulations!). Jackhas two sons and two daughters, Christine,Robert, Cynthia and Richard. Jack also has ninegrandchildren and seventeen great-grandchil-dren. Jack is a retired police officer from theRoseville Police Department from which heserved for twenty seven years with the rank of

seven boy boxes ages 5-9. The boxes includedlots of toys, hygiene items, hair things, stickers,school supplies, sunglasses, American moneyand many others items. We are tracking theboxes so, we know their final destination andare hoping to receive a letter back from a child.
Projects like this, is just one of the many rea-sons that we love our job and the wonderfulresidents and families that we have the privilegeof serving.

Shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child(OCC) is part of the Franklin Graham drivenministry called Samaritan’s Purse. I am pleasedto say that our 15 (OCC) boxes are well ontheir way by now, traveling to all parts of ourneedy world. What started out as sharing sometestimonies from OCC recipients when theywere young children, turned into the biggestbenevolent project that we have ever partici-pated in. The vision was caught and we were offand running. Residents gave up Bingo prizes inorder to put gifts in the boxes, they gave money,they shopped, their families shopped, our staffgave and also shopped. We filled those boxes tothe top! We included a letter explaining who weare and why we wanted to bless them. Weprayed a prayer dedicating the boxes for God’suse. We filled eight girl boxes ages 5-9 and
