RESOURCE PERSON:
Sr. Callista Roy, Ph.D., RN, FAAN, a highly respected
nurse theorist honoured as a Living Legend (2007) and
presently a professor at the William F. Connell School of
Nursing at Boston College.
Dr. Roy is known for her development and continual
updating of the Roy Adaptation Model—an extensively
used framework for theory, practice, and research in
nursing.
Her Books on the model have been translated into many
languages and the model is cited extensively in scholarly
books and peer-reviewed journals worldwide.
Roy’s Adaptation theory is widely used by nurses in
patient care, teaching and nursing research.
This Pre-conference workshop is a chance of a lifetime to
achieve a firsthand experience on implementation of the
theory from the forerunner herself.

Abstract should be in IMRC format with word limit of 300 words
Only research studies are allowed for paper presentation
Time limit for paper presentation is 10 (7 min+ 3 min) for presentation and discussion.
The paper should include the title of the paper, author’s name, email address, and telephone
number
Last date submission of abstract on or before 31st October 2016 by email at
The submitted abstract will be scrutinized by the scientific committee and the acceptance/
rejection of the abstract will be intimated.
Certificates will be awarded to the presenting author and co-authors provided both have
registered for the conference.
Abstract will be included in the conference souvenir. Abstract reaching us by 31st October 2016
will be only included in the conference souvenir.
Poster size should be 3 ft x 4 ft. Poster must be displayed on 9th February 2017 by 8:00AM. Only
space for display will be provided. Participant should make arrangement for other accessories.
