Model-driven Change Management

Change Management and Approval processes are described in a governance model

This approach has many benefits:– Process definitions are flexible – different roles and steps

can be supported– Different items (groups of items) can have different

processes– The model itself is extensible

Changes and change requests are accommodated– Management of changes directly entered in the

vocabulary system– As well as change requests submitted as textual

descriptions

SPARQLMotion scripts:– Listen for the changes in the data– Infer what and how needs to be acted on– Apply the right steps in the change management

processes– Log changes– Send notifications

Out of the box scripts – Support majority of requirements an enterprise may have– Are easily extended and customized to meet unique

requirements
