TRANSCRIPT
For my FMP, I have decided to design an environmental piece with an apocalyptic theme. To research, I could look at games such as Fallout 3 and Dying light as well as real life places such as Chernobyl and run-down areas in Manchester.
INTRODUCTION
In Fallout 3, there are many settlements throughout the world that contain small destroyed houses, burnt trees and rubble.
FALLOUT 3 – SETTLEMENT ENVIRONMENT
In the countryside of Fallout 3 and New Vegas, the atmosphere is very green and broken. There's burnt shrubbery and trees, shattered pylons and fried rocks.
FALLOUT 3 - COUNTRYSIDE
In this landscape, the colours would be very dark and grey. There would be lots of broken buildings and vehicles.
FALLOUT 3 – DEEP WASHINGTON D.C.
These metro systems would have a dull atmosphere to them. There would be debris and lots of tunnel collapses
FALLOUT 3 – UNDERGROUND METRO SYSTEMS
In this real life area, there is a lot of rotten areas and devastated nature. Metal is rusty and buildings remain shattered
CHERNOBYL - EXTERIORS
