Bhupinder Singh, chiefly Ghazal singer and Bollywood playback singer, started his career on All India Radio, Delhi. In 1964, music director Madan Mohan heard him over AIR, and called him to Bombay. He gave him a chance to sing the song Hoke Majboor Mujhe Usne Bulaya Hoga with Mohammad Rafi in Chetan Anand's Haqeeqat. Later, Bhupinder joined Rahul Dev Burman's orchestra; he became a good friend of R D Burman, who gave him a chance to sing in Gulzar's Parichay (1972). Bhupinder sang two songs in the movie, Beeti Na Beetai Raina and Mitwa Bole Meethe Bai, which gave him recognition as a singer. Bhupinder sang some more popular songs in Gulzar's movies.

SUCCESS STORIES

Chaitali Kalwankar, our students from Rajawadi Municipal School topped all girls students studying in BMC schools by scoring 92.91% marks in the SSC Exam held in March 2013. She is also a second ranker amongst all BMC students.

Chaitali says,“I entered EOTO in 8th Std. as a less confident student. EOTO recognized my potential and guided me accordingly. I got all possible support from EOTO to excel in academics and extra-curricular activities. All activities at EOTO are meant for the overall growth of students like me. I am simply grateful to all at EOTO. Today I am a confident girl and I am sure one day I will be a successful chartered accountant”

“ I was good in studies but my real progress started when I came under the wings of EOTO. EOTO gave me a confidence to excel in academics as well as extra-curricular activities. Drawing being my favourite, I got a lot of encouragement from EOTO teachers and staff to pursue my hobby and I could set a goal to make a career in Architecture.

I have just cleared entrance exam of the renowned J. J. School of Arts and came 23rd all over India. It was a moment of tremendous joy and I saw my dream coming true. All this has been possible due to EOTO’s timely intervention.” - Vinayak Ramane

About EOTO-Each One Teach One Charitable Foundation EOTO has taken up the challenge of providing quality education to few schools inrural sectors like Palghar and Neral. It is found that though there are various jobopportunities in hotels, factories in these areas, they do not have skilled local youth. From an indepth study, EOTO found that despite having such opportunities availablein their own locality, the youth has to migrate to make both ends meet. It furtherleads to severe personal, family and social problems related to migration. To avoid this, EOTO has decided to start its own a vocational training centre in rural sectorwhich will benefit the youth in that locality and will reduce the rate of migration.EOTO will be having a fund raising event to meet this urgent need for the rural youth.
